Part 8 – Getting The Save
September 11, 2020
Something about getting an opportunity to close out a 1 run game just hits different. Was able to learn from past mistakes and keep the foot on the gas pedal the entire outing. Fun one for sure!
Stat Line
- 1 Inning – 0 Hits – 0 ER – 3 K’s – 0 BB
Part 7 – Return of The Split
September 6, 2020
Brought the splitter back into action and got some redemption on a team that definitely has had my number thus far!
Stat Line
- 1 Inning – 0 Hits – 0 ER – 2 K’s – 0 BB
Part 6 – Learning Curve
September 3, 2020
This is a good teaching point for going into outings with a big lead and maintaining a high level of focus before things can potentially unravel in a blink of an eye.
Stat Line
- 1 Inning – 2 Hits – 2 ER – 2 K’s – 1 BB
Part 5 – Slippery When Wet
August 28, 2020
This outing was kind of a poop show to be honest with you. Aside from having to pitch during a pretty decent rain I also didn’t execute the location of my Fastball all that great which costs me a lot. Much better job at establishing a secondary coming out which I was happy about but still wasn’t the best of outings.
Stat Line
- 2 Innings – 3 Hits – 2 ER – 3 K’s – 1 BB
Part 4 – Return To The Pen
August 23, 2020
Came out of the bullpen in this outing and remembered how much I enjoyed relief appearances! Different mindset – Different animal. Less thought – More action.
Will have to do a much better job next time in establishing a secondary pitch in the bullpen before getting out on the game mound. My cutter early was basically a 90 mph cookie or barrel finder whichever you prefer. Other than that fastball had good life and besides losing feel aka trying to get fancy late in my 2nd inning thought I commanded well.
Stat Line
- 2 Innings – 1 Hit – 0 ER – 3 K’s – 1 BB
Part 3 – Dazed n Confused
August 12, 2020
OOOOF! That’s all I can say about this one.. I’ll breakdown the first 2 innings of this outing to showcase how sometimes you just simply get beat. The pitch execution was actually pretty decent but balls find holes sometimes. Will bounce back and get em next time that’s for sure!
Stat Line
- 3+ Innings – 10 Hits – 8 ER – 7 K’s – 1 BB
Part 2 – Battle Thru Fatigue
August 6, 2020
The outing itself wasn’t all that great but it was definitely fun to have to grind through a game that didn’t quite feature my best stuff. I was constantly having traffic on the bases and had to grind my way through some AB’s. The breakdown you’ll see below was my 4th and final inning of the outing. Your boy has a lot of work to do from a pitch execution standpoint and an overall starters conditioning standpoint.. and if you know me, that’s quite enjoyable!
Stat Line
- 4 Innings – 6 Hits – 1 R – 5 K’s – 1 BB
Part 1 – We’re Backkkk
August 1, 2020
Breakdown of my 1st professional outing in 2+ years. This will officially put a conclusion on The Comeback Journey! Words can’t even describe the emotions to be honest.. The amount of support has been unreal and I can’t thank everyone enough but I really do love y’all! The outing went well given the amount of emotion that was included!
Stat Line
- 2 Innings 0 Hits 4 K’s 1 BB
