Please note that this “Drill” is not at all an “end all be all” type of drill. I’m just stating that I’ve used it to really feel my arm path. I like this because you don’t have to move all too much thru time n space. Hence the “Segmentation” of the Arm during this drill. I think with the incorporation of Counter Balances in a drill like this you will get even more feedback. Take video work of what your arm path is like during this drill and see if there’s a difference when you incorporate a walk-in throw or just a simple leg lift throw.
I’d encourage you to Sign Up For An Analysis if you don’t quite know if your Arm Path is efficient or not. More often times than not an inefficient arm path (as talked about in the previous blog mentioned above) will result in leakage of power output or even a nagging arm injury.
