Want to start doing more of these FAQ’s so I can further elaborate on a lot of really good questions that I receive almost daily.
Today’s question we’re going to tackle is, “How often should I throw?” Now obviously this is a really loaded question due to every single individual being different but I want to hammer home some passionate points.
There’s so much that goes into one’s throwing. This is why cookie cutter programs or one size fits all programs are essentially worthless. Every athlete is going to move different, have different patterns, and also respond differently to certain input. This is why it’s important for the athlete to be mindful of what works and what doesn’t. Below you’ll see a quick checklist that are the talking points of the full video you will below.
- SELF IDENTIFICATION PROCESS OF DETERMINING YOUR PROTOCOLS
- UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF EFFICIENT THROWING MECHANICS
- CREATING AN OPTIMAL DELIVERY THAT DOESN’T FORCE YOUR ARM TO HANDLE MORE STRESS THAN IT NEEDS TO
- WHAT DOES YOUR WARMUP AND RECOVERY ROUTINES LOOK LIKE?
- PREPARATION AND CONSISTENCY
